13th September 2008, after successfully conducted the buoy maintaining missions during the Olympics and NOWPAP China-Korea joint exercise for oil spill emergency, buoy tender "Haibiao 12" and "Haibiao 24" return to Tianjin and Shanghai respectively.

The outstanding work of "Haibiao 12" and "Haibiao 24" received high praise from the Ministry of Transport and China MSA. During their stay in Qingdao, Captain Liu Gongchen, Administrative Director-General of China MSA paid a visit to the crew and inspected the ships.
