A conference for handover of regional AtoN in Dandong Port organized by China MSA was held in Shenyang on April 9th, 2008, with leaders from China MSA, Tianjin MSA, Harbor Bureau under Liaoning Provincial Department of Communications, as well as Dandong Transport Bureau attended.

The meeting discussed the issues related to the unified administration of regional AtoN in Dandong Port. Delegate from China MSA demonstrated the purpose and significance of the conference as well as the principle on unified administration of AtoN. Delegates from Liaoning Provincial Department of Communications expressed their support and put forward some suggestions on the handover of AtoN. Tianjin MSA also addressed their requirements on the take-over of AtoN in Dandong Port.

After negotiation, a preliminary agreement was reached on the scope and conditions of the AtoN to be handed over, laying foundation for the unified administration of AtoN in Liaoning Province.
