The Mid-year Working Meeting on AtoN & Hydrography organized by the AtoN & Hydrography Division of China MSA was held in Tianjin from July 31^st to August 1^st, 2007. The meeting was chaired by Mr. Han Wei, the Director of AtoN & Hydrography Division of China MSA, and Mr. Wang Jinfu, Deputy Director-General of China MSA presented the meeting and delivered an important speech. The meeting was attended by leaders and experts from China MSA, Tianjin MSA, Shanghai MSA, Guangdong MSA and Hainan MSA.

    The meeting summarized the work in the first half year, deployed the the second half year's work, reviewed the AtoN & Hydrography project plan in 2008 and discussed the ''Regulations on the deployment of AtoN in navigable waters with bridges in China Sea Area (for Trial Implementation)'', etc.

    Mr. Wang Jinfu, Deputy Director-General of China MSA affirmed the achievements on AtoN & Hydrography in the first half year after hearing the work reports from below, and put forward recommendations and requirements on the next half year's work. Leaders from regional MSAs all expressed that they would implement the spirit of the meeting and the instructions made by Mr. Wang Jinfu, arrange the next half year's work carefully and do their best to realize the rapid and healthy development of maritime AtoN & Hydrography industry.
