Dasanshandao Lighthouse is located on Dasanshan Island in the north of the Yellow Sea. It was established in 1903, transformed in 1947 and 1994 respectively. A fog signal was installed in 1958. A RBN-DGPS station was installed at the same site in 1996 and put into operation on July 21, 1997. The lighthouse assists vessels passing by Dasanshan channel.
