Chaoliandao Lighthouse is located on Chaolian Island near Qingdao port, the Yellow Sea. It was established in 1899 and rebuilt in 1940. A Racon was built in March 1941 and a fog signal was installed in 1958. It was transformed in 1993. The lighthouse assists vessels passing by Qingdao port.
