AtoN and Hydrography Achievements showed in the 10th China International Exhibition on Transport Technology and Equipment

  The 10th China International Exhibition on Transport Technology &Equipment, sponsored by the Ministry of Transport, was held at Beijing Exhibition Center on 26th to 28th May 2010. China MSA was invited to attend the International Exhibition.
  
  The booth of China MSA located at Green Transportation Pavilion with the exhibiting area of 138m2. Combined with the theme of the exhibition, China MSA selected representative, tech-advanced, economical and environment-friendly technology and equipment by means of display board, entity, model as well as multi-media display to exhibit its achievements on promotion of green transportation development and guarantee of navigation safety. The rich exhibited contents attracted large visitors.
  
  Over the years, China MSA endeavored in the application of new material, new energy and new technology and obtained great effects on energy conservation and environment protection. From gas lamp, tungsten filament lamp to LED lamp, the energy consumption was reduced; from acetylene, diesel generator to solar energy, wind power, wave power and so on, the application of green energy was popularized; from steel material to glass reinforced plastics, polyurea and polyethylene etc, the efficient of environment protection was improved.
  
  At present, the number of the light houses, light beacons, light ships and light buoys operated and maintained by China MSA is up to 4738, among which, 4147 (87.53%) adopt new energy; in addition, the popularity rate of maintenance-free battery in light buoys reaches 94.91%, and popularity rate of LED lamp in light buoys is up to 100%.
  
  China MSA always persists in technology innovation, and a batch of new achievements such as the development and application of “Intelligent Aton Lantern and Operational Information Management System”, “Vessel Intelligent Navigator”, “AtoN Remote Monitor and Control System”, “AtoN Three-Dimensional Simulated System” and “Hydrographic Production Management System”, etc. Moreover, technical reconstruction such as pressure on the ship through the air supply device effectively reduces the pollution of the ships.
  
  Commissioned by China MSA, Tianjin MSA took in charge of the related work of exhibition, and other related divisions of MSAs cooperated the work actively. At last, the exhibiting work successfully completed and obtained good effect.
